Evexar Multi-Purpose Graduated Compression Socks
The Evexar Medical™ range of graduated compression hosiery has been designed by Consultant vascular surgeons and materials engineers from University College London, in conjunction with the UK’s leading hosiery manufacturer. The Retail and Consumer sector products have been designed for people to wear whilst travelling, during pregnancy and for everyday work.
Additionally, Evexar Medical™ graduated compression socks are produced for specialised use by sports people and by military personnel. The product is of extremely high quality, conforming to British Standard BS 7672 and is one of the very few new products conforming to the latest European and North American consensus documents for graduated compression.
They are CE marked. The products are trademarked worldwide and are endorsed fully by UCL Business (the commerical arm of University College London, whose logo is prominently displayed on the front of the product pack).

Graduated compression hosiery aims to improve venous (blood) return from the lower limbs, back to the heart. In the Retail and Consumer sector, the benefits of graduated compression are already well known for the prevention of ‘flight-related’ DVT. For everyday use at work and during pregnancy, the socks are directed at relieving completely, the swelling that occurs around the ankles for those who are sitting at a desk all day, standing all day, or who are in the later stages of pregnancy where the legs can remain comfortable, with aching and cramps prevented. |
